May 2006 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #28 Item Title C-33 Renew the contract for services for an ESE student for the 2006-2007 school year with the Center Academy. (Revised) Issue/Rationale As a result of district mediation we have agreed to contract to provide a student services at Center Academy.  This was cost effective and a success for all parties.  The agreement will be for the current fiscal year, 2006-2007. Recommended Action The Superintendent recommends approval. Financial Impact The contract is within the amounts our attorneys agree.  We expect this to be close to the FTE of his final matrix rating.  The contract limits the annual increase to 12%.  The Center Academy is accredited and has a Headmaster.  It is part of Lincoln Learning Labs (LLL).  Submitted By Dr. Daniel Becton, Director, Exceptional Student Education Attachment:  Center Academy Contract.pdf
